We always have such fun holidays around the Hopkins' house. On Valentine's Day, Cupid visits and leaves a scavenger hunt for the kids to wake up to. This year, Cupid was a little sneakier and made the kids use rhyming words to finish the clues. They ran around the house, giggling and smiling. It was a beautiful memory in the making. Here are some of the clues he left behind.
The first clue led them to Daddy, laying in bed. Then the run started!
This was the last card they found with their little bucket of gifts.
Shoe and Sink.
Honey and Shirt.
Bed and Oven Mitt.
The other fun thing that I did for the kids and for my sweet husband for Valentine's Day, was I put a heart every day on their door telling them something I love about them. My friend had the idea and I ran with it. I made little pink hearts and wrote "You have the best laugh," "Such a beautiful face," "you are a kind and loving friend," etc. I told my husband how much I love him, how hard he works for our family, and how he is my best friend. So come February 14th, they each had 14 hearts on their bedroom doors letting them know how special they are to me.
I love my little family and I never want them to forget it!
Happy Valentine's Day Ya'll.
